Pfizer recalls 1 million birth control packets

A birth control manufacturer announced that it has recalled about one million packets of birth control pills due to concerns that they may not effectively prevent pregnancy. Pfizer is recalling 14 lots of its Lo/Ovral-28 pills and 14 lots of its generic norgestrel/ethinyl estradiol pills because they may have been manufactured without the correct number of contraceptive pills, putting users at risk of unintended pregnancy.
