Johnson & Johnson Agrees to $2.47 Billion Settlement for DePuy Hip Implant Lawsuits

The DePuy Orthopaedics division of Johnson & Johnson has agreed to pay at least $2.47 billion to settle thousands of DePuy ASR hip replacement lawsuits, according to an article published in the New York Times. The settlement agreement would resolve approximately 8,000 DePuy hip replacement lawsuits.
