Bayer settles more than 8,000 Yasmin lawsuits as of February

According to Bayer Pharmaceutical’s annual reports, the drug manufacturer has settled more than 8,000 Yasmin lawsuits in the U.S. as of February 2014. The company has paid nearly $1.7 billion to patients who suffered Yasmin blood clots, including deep vein thrombosis.
